bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is an isotonic, sterile solution consisting of 1.3% bi-medEctoin®, sodium chloride and water. bi-medEctoin® is a natural care substance with a wide range of applications in both humans and animals. This well-researched, clinically proven active ingredient is based on a physical mode of action and is considered a highly effective natural stress-protection molecule.
bi-medEctoin® binds water molecules from its surroundings to form the Ectoin® hydro complex, which acts as a protective shield around cells. This reduces the cellular response to stress, helping to prevent inflammatory processes and supporting the cells natural regeneration process.
bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete can help to clear mucus, moisturise the lungs and protect against stress caused by dust and other allergens. It is ideally suited for use as an aerosol to moisturise, cleanse and care for the mucous membranes and nostrils of horses.
As a supportive measure alongside bronchodilating medications, this animal care product can strengthen natural resistance, optimally support the regeneration of the respiratory tract, and help prevent disease and maintain overall health.
Application
For best results, administer the product as an aerosol by nebulising the undiluted, ready-to-use solution using the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses, or another suitable inhalation device.
It is only recommended to unscrew the bottle completely if the entire solution is to be used in one day. Otherwise, the solution should be dispensed by inserting a spike into the wax hole in the cap. This is included in the delivery. The solution must be used within 30 days of opening.
