The Valetumed SOS hoof tincture was developed specifically for already damaged and affected hoof horn. The ready-to-use solution based on thyme and rosemary prevents horn decomposition processes and specifically combats the fungi and bacteria responsible for thrush.
These can get out of the wound into the mud and thus infect other animals in the herd. Therefore, if affected animals appear, action should be taken as early and consistently as possible. Constant monitoring and intervention by the horse owner as early as possible should be sought before veterinary care is necessary.
Regular use of the tincture ensures optimal care and satisfactory growth of healthy hoof horn.
Instructions for use: Clean the hoof well (do not wash with soap) and then apply the tincture to the affected area using the practical applicator (do not bandage the hoof). Once a week for slightly affected horn, twice a week for more severely rotting horn. It is recommended to wear protective gloves when using the tincture.
