Easier to fix and protect: The adhesive bandage
This elastic adhesive bandage impresses with its robustness. The cotton backing is coated with a zinc oxide rubber adhesive, which means that this bandage is water-repellent and adheres well, but allows X-rays to pass through. The elastic properties in particular with a longitudinal stretch of approx. 60% make them a great helper for first aid. It has a very high adhesive strength and is ideal for functional bandages for injuries to muscles, ligaments and joints. The special coating keeps the bandage firmly adhered during prolonged treatment; the printed center line helps with accurate overlap during application. The reverse-rolled version (RW = reverse-wound) has the adhesive on the outside when unrolling and allows for easy installation, making it perfect for laypeople.
